Original Medicare is a Federal Health Insurance program that has Part A (Hospital Insurance) and Part B (Medical Insurance).
You may be elegible for Original Medicare if you ar 65 or older, if you have a disability, End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), or ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease).
Original Medicare do not cover Prescription Drugs, Dental and Hearing insurance.
Medicare Advantage, also known as Part C, is a private health insurance plan that combines Medicare Part A, Part B, and usually Part D (prescription drugs) into one plan. It is offered by private insurance companies that are approved by Medicare. Some plans may offer additional benefits like dental, vision, and hearing coverage.
